Adrian Anderson
Adrian is a prominent sports law barrister and former sports executive with extensive experience in racing, sport and betting integrity matters. He was a media and sports law partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth before taking the role of AFL General Manager, Football Operations where he set up the AFL integrity unit and reformed the AFL Tribunal. He was interim CEO of Cycling Australia before becoming a barrister where his racing sport and betting integrity work has included:
conducting an integrity review for Cricket Australia
advice to professional sports on agreements with betting agencies
Chairman of the GRNSW investigation into unauthorised export of greyhounds to Macau and China
representing HRV and RV in betting integrity related matters.
regularly appearing in sports disciplinary tribunals such as the AFL tribunal
He is a Vice-President of the Melbourne Cricket Club, a Cricket Australia Code of Conduct Commissioner and a member of the rules committee of Harness Racing Australia.
