Barni Evans is the Chief Executive Officer of Sportsbet – Australia’s largest online wagering operator and a leading digital e-commence business bringing excitement to life for 2.2 million Australian customers. Barni proudly leads 1,300 staff across Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin. Sportsbet is part of the Flutter Group, the world’s largest online gaming company operating in over 40 regulated markets with a market footprint across Europe, Asia and North America. 

Barni has been part of the Flutter Group for over 20 years – the first eight years in marketing for Flutter’s UK brand Paddy Power. Joining Sportsbet in 2009, Barni held executive roles across commercial and marketing from 2011 and became CEO in March 2018.
