Regulating the Game names RET charity BetBlocker as final candidate for Pitch! night
Gambling law and regulation conference Regulating the Game London, taking place from 25 to 29 September, has named RET charity BetBlocker as the final candidate for Pitch! night, one of three innovative networking events to take place later this month.
Pitch! is a unique concept debuting at RTG@London by which innovative firms and individuals are invited to pitch their ideas to the sector. It aims to brings together the sector to platform new technologies, research and policy thinking aimed at helping industry meet and exceed minimum standards while advancing efficient and effective regulation, and helping invigorate the sector.
BetBlocker is a RET charity that provides a free tool to assist individuals with gambling concerns. With the capability to block access to over 85,000 gambling sites and 1,500 gambling apps, it aims to serve as a trusted ally for thousands looking to manage their gambling habits. Relying on a frequently updated database of gambling-related web addresses, BetBlocker ensures user privacy, requiring no personal data transmission or external storage in its pursuit of safer gaming.
