Face detection specialist ClientScan to exhibit at Regulating the Game London's networking event Pitch!

ClientScan, a specialist face detection and recognition company, is participating in the inaugural edition of the Regulating the Game conference in London, event organizer Paul Newson, Principal at Vanguard Overwatch confirmed on Monday. According to a press release, ClientScan innovates and simplifies how operators can recognize and protect gamblers who have chosen to self-exclude from placing a bet on-site.

The London debut of the Australian gaming regulation conference will feature three networking events, including 'Pitch!'. At Pitch!, ClientScan's CEO Robin Paine, and Head of Business Development Laura Bedborough, will show live how the retail self-exclusion process detects, in less than a tenth of a second with an accuracy rate of over 99%, the self-excluded gambler and sends an alert.

Already established in Australia, the Regulating the Game conference is set to arrive in London on September 25-29. It is described as a 5-day immersive program that focuses on leading-edge research, regulatory policy and practice, and ethical leadership in the gambling sector.

Pitch! is one of three networking events at the London conference, which brings together innovators and the sector to platform new technologies, research, and policy thinking that help the industry meet and exceed minimum standards, advance efficient and effective regulation, and help invigorate the sector.

"Pitch! @RTG is about showcasing leading-edge products and services, platforming innovation, and sparking interest in technology, research, and regulatory policy and practice that can uplift capability, advance AML, safer gambling, and operational outcomes, and help invigorate the sector," said Paul Newson, Principal at leading specialist regulatory and compliance advisory Vanguard Overwatch
